In 2006 Epson release the R260 Artisan printer. It soon became a real workhorse, printing everything from correspondence to high quality professional photographs. There has only been one problem, and it has been a big one. The Epson ink was super expensive. And while that is understandable for this Ultra-High Definition printer, the cost is not sustainable. For the first few years, I bought the official Epson ink one cartridge at a time. Then I saw an advertisement for a continuous ink system and replacement bulk ink that promised to be as good as the "official." Now, several years later, the 18 year-old Epson printer is still going strong, producing detailed pro photos with the UV protected ink I get from InkXpro. It is good and it is affordable. Can't get much better than that !
