Do not use CISS with 78xx series |

Just warning everyone not to use a CISS with 7820/40 printers. This printer is required to use a chip, and said chip cannot be reset (they have not been cracked yet). When you install a CISS, the ink carts are supposed to remain in the printer, always.. since you're required to use a chip, it will eventually run out of ink and you will have to replace the chip, which requires you to pull the ink carts out (and introduce air into the system). After replacing the chip and putting the carts back down, it will do a head cleaning/purge/charge, which wastes a lot of ink.. defeating the purpose of using a CISS. Even worse, the ink counters for chips of the 7820/40 go down real fast. I'd say you'll only get about 4 full color 13x19 prints before it goes about 2/3 of the way down.. at this point, use a wf-7610 instead, well worth the money.
